Samuel Kwame Otu Scholarship

The Samuel Kwame Otu Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It was created in memory of our late father, Mr. Samuel Kwame Otu who passed away in 2018. This scholarship is awarded to bachelor’s and master’s students (domestic and international students) who are dedicated to bringing about positive change in their communities, expanding their perspectives, and developing a lifetime worldwide network. It covers students’ segregated costs such as health insurance, textbooks, other materials, transportation, and living expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants (international and domestic) must be admitted and enrolled in an accredited institution in the USA & around the world. Scholarships are given for online and in-person programs. Must have a bachelor’s degree with GPA of 3.0 and above.
Housing Scholarship
$500
The scholarship is awarded to first-year Bachelor and Graduate students in an accredited US institution. It covers students’ one-time rent or housing allowances.
Eligibility

University Application Scholarship
This scholarship covers the application fee for any school applied in the United States.

Scholarship for Special Needs
$5000
This scholarship is awarded to students with special needs who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, creativity, and the ability to serve as positive role models. Special needs students who utilize special needs services access an educational environment that best meets their learning needs to empower them to pursue higher education.
Achievement Scholarship
$5000-$15000
This scholarship is a one-time, competitive, merit-based award intended to recognize and encourage academic excellence and achievement for high-achieving students who are committed to their careers but can’t afford tuition. Awarded every year, this scholarship provides financial support to college-bound students with a strong academic background.
Eligibility
Applicants must have attained outstanding performance in previous institutions. Must have a bachelor’s degree with GPA of 3.0 and above.
